I love my I-On range finder and use it all of the time. This is the only device that I have owned but it does exactly what I need it to do and appears to be very accurate. The unit has a "reflector" mode that allows you to easily pick-up a pin (containing reflectors) within 250 yards. You have to have a steady hand to get a non-reflective pin outside approximately 125 yards. In my opinion, laser range finders are better than GPS devices like Sky Caddy for two reasons: 1) you can use the laser on the practice range to determine your exact distances with each club and 2) there are no worries about uploading courses into your device.
