I-On Optics Laser Golf Rangefinder Black

I-ON Optics Laser Rangefinders take the guesswork out of judging the distance between you and your "target". Whether that target is big game, a tree to set up your bow shooting distance, a bail of hay for practice shooting, a flagstick, a bunker, the water hazard, or the green itself, making it the perfect gift for your favorite outdoorsman. The golf industry now accepts the use of range finders for use in tournament play and for the posting of scores for handicap purposes. The I-ON Optics Rangefinders measure distance in your choice of yards or meters, and in several different operating modes: Standard Mode: Will be used in most circumstances to provide an accurate reading. Rain Mode: Use this setting to assist the rangefinder to cut through rain. Reflective Mode: This mode will help you cut through interference such as ground fog in the fairway, or in and across a field. If electrical interference is suspected this mode will help "shoot" through it. >150: This mode will help eliminate readings from brush in the path of the laser that may send back false readings. This mode will acquire targets only in excess of 150 meters. Customer Review: Works as good as the more expensive units.
I love my I-On range finder and use it all of the time. This is the only device that I have owned but it does exactly what I need it to do and appears to be very accurate. The unit has a "reflector" mode that allows you to easily pick-up a pin (containing reflectors) within 250 yards. You have to have a steady hand to get a non-reflective pin outside approximately 125 yards. In my opinion, laser range finders are better than GPS devices like Sky Caddy for two reasons: 1) you can use the laser on the practice range to determine your exact distances with each club and 2) there are no worries about uploading courses into your device.
